Origin and Purpose of World NGO Day:

World NGO Day is observed every year on December 27.

The purpose of this day is to recognize and honor the efforts and services of all NGOs and volunteers engaged in humanitarian, service, and social work worldwide.

NGOs (Non-Governmental Organizations) play an important role in society. They work to provide solutions for people's difficulties and are involved in education, health, environmental protection, women’s empowerment, and many other social issues.

World NGO Day is a day to highlight the effectiveness of NGOs and their contributions to society. On this day, programs, workshops, and gatherings are held to honor the achievements of NGOs.
