BMW India Records 10% Sales Growth in First Half of 2025

In the same period of 2024, BMW and MINI combined had sold 7,281 units, marking this year’s performance as a notable improvement. Despite a challenging environment and a significant 28.9% year-on-year decline in two-wheeler sales across the industry, BMW has managed to maintain its premium brand value.

Mumbai: BMW Group India has reported a 10% increase in car sales in the Indian market during the January–June 2025 period, with total deliveries reaching 7,774 units. The German luxury carmaker has seen steady growth in customer demand across India, outperforming its previous year’s figures.

Despite a challenging environment and a significant 28.9% year-on-year decline in two-wheeler sales across the industry, BMW has managed to maintain its premium brand value. The company has continued to attract customers by offering luxury services and innovative features, thereby ensuring sustained demand for its vehicles.

Compared to the same period last year, BMW India recorded a 9.5% year-on-year growth in car deliveries. The company also reported consistent monthly sales in its motorcycle segment, further strengthening the BMW brand presence in the country.

BMW Group India attributes this strong performance to its operational efficiency, premium customer experience, and a positive market response. It continues to introduce new initiatives to enhance customer engagement and brand loyalty in the Indian automotive market.
