In connection with allegations of disproportionate assets, the Lokayukta conducted raids on the residences of three government officials in Bengaluru.

The raids took place at three different locations in the city, targeting top officials including IAS officer Vasanthi Amar, Town Planning Assistant Director Bagli Maruthi, and BBMP Executive Engineer Errappa Reddy. Lokayukta teams carried out thorough inspections at their residences.

In connection with allegations of disproportionate assets, the Lokayukta conducted raids on the residences of three government officials in Bengaluru.

The raids took place at three different locations in the city, targeting top officials including IAS officer Vasanthi Amar, Town Planning Assistant Director Bagli Maruthi, and BBMP Executive Engineer Errappa Reddy. Lokayukta teams carried out thorough inspections at their residences.

Previously, all three officers had faced various allegations. The residence of Vasanthi Amar in RT Nagar was raided, with accusations of illegally transferring government land to private individuals. Vasanthi currently serves as Special DC of Bengaluru Urban.

The residence of BBMP Executive Engineer Errappa Reddy, who was recently caught accepting a ₹10 lakh bribe, was also searched. Investigations extended to Bagli Maruthi, the Assistant Director of Town Planning.

The raids are being led by a Lokayukta team under SP Vamshikrishna, and in total, eight officials’ residences have reportedly been raided as part of the operation targeting corrupt officials.
