Bengaluru: A shocking incident has been reported from the renowned Rameshwaram Café located at Kempegowda International Airport, where a customer allegedly found an insect inside a serving of Pongal.
The customer, who had ordered the dish for breakfast, discovered the insect and immediately raised the issue with the café staff. However, the customer claims that the staff initially tried to cover up the incident.
When the customer began recording a video of the Pongal and the staff, they eventually apologized and refunded ₹300.
Rameshwaram Café is considered one of Bengaluru’s top restaurants, known for its quality and hygienic food. Such an incident at a high-profile location has now stirred controversy and raised questions about food safety.
