Bengaluru: The identity of a woman suspected of having links with terrorist organizations has been established in Bengaluru. Shama Parveen, 30, originally from Jharkhand, was arrested on suspicion of being in contact with the terrorist groups ULFA (United Liberation Front of Assam) and Naxalites.

Parveen had been residing for the past five years at 10th Cross, Manorayan Palya, within the limits of Hebbal Police Station in Bengaluru. Officials from the Gujarat Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) arrested her today at 9:30 AM.

It's understood that her arrest is connected to a ULFA case registered in Jharkhand. Following her arrest, Parveen was promptly presented before Judge Vishwanath of the 8th Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate (ACMM) court.

After hearing the matter, the judge granted a transit warrant to the Gujarat Police, allowing them to take the woman to Gujarat for further interrogation. The ATS team departed for Gujarat with the suspected Shama Parveen immediately after receiving court approval. This incident is expected to further intensify concerns about terror links in Bengaluru.
