Inauguration of Temporary Worker Housing and Smart Card Distribution for Unorganised Workers in Karwar and Belagavi

In a collaborative effort by the Karnataka Labour Department, Karnataka State Unorganised Workers Social Security Board, Transport Department, Karwar District Administration, and District Panchayat, an event was organized today at a private hotel in the Kodibag area of Karwar to distribute smart cards to unorganised workers of Uttara Kannada district and raise awareness about related schemes. The event was inaugurated by the Honourable Labour Minister, Shri Santosh Lad, who also addressed the gathering.
