Bengaluru: A tragic incident occurred on the night of August 8, 2025, in Chikkabanavara under the jurisdiction of Soladevanahalli police station, resulting in a murder stemming from a party and dispute among friends. The incident has caused alarm among locals. Soladevanahalli and Kalasipalya police are investigating and pursuing the accused involved in these events.

On the night of August 2, 2025, around 10:30 PM, a 38-year-old man named Harish Kumar was brutally attacked by two juveniles on J.C. Road. Harish, who worked at an automobile shop, was talking with friends on J.C. Road when two juveniles on a bike approached. Harish informed them that the road ended in a dead end. Angered by this, the accused attacked Harish with a machete, injuring his hand.

Harish Kumar was admitted to a hospital for treatment. Kalasipalya police have arrested the two juvenile suspects and registered a case, with investigations ongoing.
