Bengaluru: The monsoon session of both houses of the Karnataka Legislative Assembly commenced today (August 11, 2025) with formal proceedings. Under the leadership of Speaker U.T. Khader, the session began with the singing of 'Vande Mataram,' marking the start of the deliberations.

The opposition BJP-JDS alliance is geared up to criticize the ruling Congress government, highlighting its alleged administrative failures. In response, the ruling Congress party is fully prepared to counter the opposition's allegations.

The session will continue from today until August 22, spanning a total of 9 days, excluding holidays.
