Once purchased, the FASTag Annual Pass allows up to 200 trips or one year of toll usage, whichever comes first. For instance, by paying ₹3000, a vehicle owner can use the pass for a maximum of 200 trips or one full year of toll access. This eliminates the hassle of frequent FASTag recharges, providing convenience to vehicle owners.

New Delhi: To facilitate vehicle owners who frequently travel on national highways and reduce congestion at toll plazas, the Union Ministry of Road Transport and Highways is set to launch the FASTag Annual Pass from August 15.


This initiative is expected to offer significant benefits to drivers.The distribution of the FASTag Annual Pass will commence on August 15, targeting non-commercial vehicles such as private cars, jeeps, and vans. Announced earlier in June this year, the pass is exclusively for private, non-commercial vehicles.The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI), which manages India’s electronic toll collection system, FASTag, is introducing this annual pass as a significant upgrade. It is designed to benefit frequent travelers in particular.
