In recent times, the younger generation falling prey to issues like depression has become a serious concern. It is disheartening that the number of individuals suffering from depression is increasing day by day. The fact that some, caught in such problems, attempt to end their lives is deeply alarming.

One such incident occurred at Bengaluru’s Majestic Metro Station. A young man, under immense stress, suddenly jumped onto the metro track in an attempt to take his own life. The incident took place on the Green Line of the metro, where the young man tried to end his life by leaping onto the tracks.

The incident occurred around 10:28 PM. The young man, who was severely injured after jumping onto the track, was immediately rushed to a hospital.

The incident created a tense atmosphere at the station, and metro services were temporarily halted for some time. Later, the Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL) announced in a statement that metro operations had resumed.
