On Independence Day 2025, a special tribute will be paid to Operation Sindoor, symbolizing India’s national pride and patriotism. This operation reflects the valor of the Indian Air Force (IAF) and the armed forces. Indian Air Force helicopters will carry the Sindoor Flag during a flypast, with personnel from the operation participating in the event. The invitation cards also follow the Sindoor theme.

Details are as follows: Sindoor Flag and IAF Flypast: On August 15, 2025, three Indian Air Force helicopters will conduct a flypast over the Red Fort in Delhi, carrying the National Flag and the Operation Sindoor Flag. During the flypast, flower petals will be showered on the public, enhancing the patriotic atmosphere.

Participation of Operation Sindoor Personnel: Approximately 15 defense personnel who participated in Operation Sindoor will be seated in a position of honor at the Red Fort’s ramparts. This gesture symbolizes the recognition of their bravery.
