Immediately after the verdict, the police department under whose jurisdiction the accused reside will be instructed to comply with the order. The Assistant Commissioner of Police will direct the local police station to take the accused into custody.

New Delhi: The Supreme Court has ordered the cancellation of bail for Challenging Star Darshan, his associate Pavithra Gowda, and five other accused in the Renukaswamy murder case. This development has set the stage for significant legal proceedings, with the verdict being described as a landmark judgment.

In the Chitradurga Renukaswamy murder case, Darshan, Pavithra Gowda, and seven others, who are accused, will now have to return to jail. What Happens After the Supreme Court’s Decision? The Supreme Court’s order will be directly sent to the High Court by the Public Prosecutor.

As per protocol, when a higher court cancels bail, a copy of the order must be sent to the court that granted the bail.

Immediately after the verdict, the police department under whose jurisdiction the accused reside will be instructed to comply with the order. The Assistant Commissioner of Police will direct the local police station to take the accused into custody.

Seven separate teams will be formed to arrest the seven accused.

Currently, Pavithra Gowda is in Rajarajeshwari Nagar, and she can be taken into custody immediately.

Actor Darshan is in Chamarajanagar and must surrender to the court that granted his bail.

Once bail is canceled, the accused must surrender to the court immediately.

In criminal cases, the accused generally appear before a Magistrate Court.

At this stage, the Public Prosecutor may request that all accused be held in the same jail.

Previously, due to reports of special treatment in Bengaluru jail, the accused were transferred to different jails.BULLMER Trendy Clothing Set with Shirt & Pants Co-ords for Men

Given the bail cancellation, the trial is expected to commence soon.

During the trial, the accused must be present in person. Video conferencing, which may have been allowed during bail, is not permitted now.

The trial is expected to take at least two years.

Bringing the accused from different jails for the trial will increase costs and time.

For these reasons, a request may be made to keep all accused in one jail.

However, the Supreme Court has also issued orders against special treatment in jails and warned of action against jail authorities, which may alter the situation.also read:Tendulkar’s First Ton: A Legend Begins at Old Trafford

Similarly, in a murder case, the Supreme Court had previously canceled the bail granted to Vinay Kulkarni by the High Court, ordering him to face trial from jail. The same approach may apply to Darshan and his co-accused, with the court’s order reflecting similar reasoning.
