In the Renukaswamy murder case, actor Darshan and six other accused had previously been granted bail. However, the police department challenged the bail and filed a petition in the Supreme Court to have it canceled. After hearing arguments from both sides, the Supreme Court revoked the bail of all seven accused.
As per the court’s order, Darshan was arrested from his home and taken to the Annapoorneshwari Nagar police station. Medical tests have been conducted on Darshan and the other six accused.

On this occasion, a photo of Darshan with a cap, without his wig, has gone viral on social media.
After the medical examination, Darshan will be produced in court. Following the court’s orders, he will be sent to jail.
Typically, when bail is canceled, courts grant the accused a week or 10 days to surrender to the police. However, in this case, the Supreme Court ordered immediate arrest.
Darshan requested time to meet his family, particularly his son, but the police officials stated that they had to arrest him immediately as per the Supreme Court’s directive. Darshan has now met his son and is complying with the legal process.
