Special Magistrate Court Acquits BJP MLA V Sunil Kumar in Pramod Muthalik Defamation Case

In a defamation case, the Special Magistrate Court for Elected Representatives in Karnataka has acquitted BJP MLA V Sunil Kumar of the charges filed against him. The case was initiated by Pramod Muthalik, the national president of Sri Ram Sene, and was heard by Special Magistrate K N Shivakumar. High Court advocate B Vinod Kumar represented V Sunil Kumar during the trial.

Court Verdict:
The Special Magistrate Court, after reviewing the evidence and arguments, cleared V Sunil Kumar of the defamation charges on August 13, 2025, ruling in his favor.
