Tumakuru: Former Minister K.N. Rajanna made a sensational claim regarding his removal from the ministerial post. Speaking at a press conference in Tumakuru on August 15, 2025, he alleged, "Three individuals in Delhi conspired against me to have me removed from the cabinet." However, Rajanna did not disclose their identities, stating, "I will reveal their names when the time comes.
"It is alleged that political pressures and internal conspiracies within the Congress party led to Rajanna’s ouster. On August 11, 2025, Rajanna submitted his resignation to Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, reportedly under instructions from the Congress high command to expel him from the party. His statements, particularly his criticism of Rahul Gandhi over the "vote theft" allegations in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, had embarrassed the party, prompting the high command to take strict action. Former Minister Rajugowda alleged that a "powerful leader" played a role in Rajanna’s removal, describing it as a politically motivated act. Speaking in Yadagiri, Rajugowda claimed that influential leaders like Rajanna are being deliberately targeted. Additionally, Kodishree Swamiji identified Rajanna’s resignation as part of a political storm, noting that such pressures are common in politics. Despite being a close aide of Siddaramaiah, this controversy has created a political predicament for the Chief Minister.BULLMER Trendy Clothing Set with Shirt & Pants Co-ords for Men

"Responding to an invitation from former BJP Minister Sriramulu to join the BJP, Rajanna remarked that Sriramulu’s offer might have been made out of affection and trust, but questioned, "Does that mean I should join the BJP? What has Congress done to me?" He added that if Congress had won 20 more seats, Rahul Gandhi could have become Prime Minister.
Rajanna emphasized that ups and downs are common in politics, and he accepts victories and defeats equally. "I have never lied for personal gain, but I may do so for others’ benefit. Even without power, I pray that God gives me the strength to retain people’s love. I will reclaim the ministerial post when the time comes," he stated. also read; Historic Initiative in Karnataka: Up to ₹5 Lakh Cashless Treatment for Government Employees
Rajanna’s Statement: I’m Not Clinging to Power
Rajanna clarified, "I am not clinging to power. I will take up the ministerial post when the time is right, but for now, I will not answer any questions." He noted that rigging votes in rural areas is difficult as villagers do not allow fake voting, but cautioned party workers to remain vigilant. He suggested that vote manipulation is more feasible in urban areas. Rajanna expressed his commitment to making Madhugiri a district headquarters and ensuring water supply to all lakes in the taluk. He also pledged to secure more government funds for the development of his constituency.
