These concept cars are not just design studies — they are previews of Mahindra’s upcoming production SUVs, combining rugged performance with modern technology.
All Vision concepts are built on Mahindra’s newly developed NU_IQ platform, a flexible architecture that can support both internal combustion engine (ICE) and electric vehicle (EV) powertrains. This means that each Vision model could be offered in multiple variants, depending on market demand and fuel trends.

Here's a breakdown of the four "Vision" concepts that were recently revealed:
Vision. S: This concept is a compact SUV that is expected to preview the next-generation Mahindra Bolero/Neo. It has a boxy, rugged design with modern elements like flush door handles and LED lighting. It's built on the NU_IQ platform, which means it could have multiple powertrain options.
Vision. T: An evolution of the earlier Thar.e concept, the Vision.T is a five-door SUV with a boxy, military-inspired stance. It features a vertical grille, rugged off-road hardware, and a production-spec design. Like the others, it is based on the NU_IQ platform and is expected to have both ICE and EV versions.
Vision. SXT: This concept is a pickup-style vehicle based on the Vision.T. It's designed for adventure and features a loading bay with space for two spare tires.
Vision. X: A sub-four-meter SUV concept with a sleek, modern design, featuring sharp geometric panels and a sloping roofline.
Other Notable Mahindra EV Models
In addition to the Vision concepts, Mahindra has also launched or is preparing to launch several electric vehicles as part of its "Born Electric" (BE) series:
Mahindra XEV 9e: This is a coupe-style SUV with a futuristic design and a long list of tech features, including a triple-screen dashboard and an augmented reality (AR) based heads-up display. Mahindra BE.05: This electric SUV is part of the "Born Electric" series and is expected to be a key model for Mahindra's EV future. It has been spotted in its production-ready form and is anticipated to have a range of about 500 km.
