Dharmasthala – The controversies surrounding Shri Kshetra Dharmasthala have sparked intense political and public debates. Deputy Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar has described the situation as a "major conspiracy" aimed at defaming a revered institution. However, the ongoing SIT investigation has so far found no substantial evidence supporting the complainant’s allegations, and no human remains have been discovered during the excavation activities.TRASE Block Heels Sandals For Women, Dusky Stylish & Comfortable Footwear
There has been criticism over the Congress government’s inaction in curbing the widespread misinformation and defamatory content related to Dharmasthala. BJP MLA Sunil Kumar and several others have termed this as a deliberate conspiracy against Hindu religious centers, suggesting the possible involvement of left-leaning forces.
While former Congress MP Janardhana Poojary’s statement came in support of Dharmasthala, it stirred controversy for dragging other religious communities into the matter.
Accusations against the Congress government and discussions around an alleged conspiracy have intensified. However, the government insists that the investigation is being carried out transparently. Home Minister G. Parameshwara informed the Assembly that legal action would be taken if the complainant's statements were proven false.
Amid calls for the Chief Minister to issue an apology, the government has clarified that a clear picture will emerge once the investigation is complete. Nevertheless, public outrage and political pressure continue to mount.
In the wake of these developments, BJP State President B.Y. Vijayendra visited Dharmasthala and issued the following statement:
"We welcomed a transparent investigation into the Dharmasthala case. However, during the course of the probe, unchecked defamation and baseless allegations have been spread against the sacred institution. Even the Deputy CM himself has acknowledged the existence of a conspiracy. The Congress government's failure to curb the defamation campaign against Shri Kshetra Dharmasthala is nothing short of a crime. The Chief Minister must apologize to the people of the state."
