New Delhi, August 17, 2025: Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived at the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) headquarters in Delhi on Sunday, August 17, 2025, to attend a parliamentary board meeting to finalize the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) candidate for the upcoming Vice Presidential election. The meeting was held at the BJP headquarters, attended by party president J.P. Nadda, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, and other key parliamentary board members.

Purpose of the Meeting:The primary agenda was to discuss and finalize the NDA’s candidate for the Vice Presidential election. On August 6, 2025, NDA leaders authorized PM Modi and BJP president J.P. Nadda to finalize the candidate.
