India-China Relations Expected to Improve as Foreign Ministers Meet in Delhi Today!

China's Foreign Minister Wang Yi is scheduled to meet with India's External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar in New Delhi, in a crucial bilateral meeting aimed at improving relations between the two countries.

China's Foreign Minister Wang Yi is set to arrive in India today around 4:15 PM and will meet with India's External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar in New Delhi at 6 PM. The Chinese minister is on a two-day visit to India, during which he will hold a decisive bilateral meeting with External Foreign Affairs Minister.

This visit is particularly significant amidst the ongoing tariff dispute between India and the US. It comes ahead of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's scheduled visit to China at the end of the month.

The discussions are expected to focus on peace and confidence-building measures in the border regions, as well as a new round of special representative (SR) dialogue on the border issue with National Security Advisor Ajit Doval.

The visit of the Chinese Foreign Minister is seen as a part of the two nations' efforts to rebuild their relationship following the Galwan Valley conflict. After his discussion with Ajit Doval tomorrow, Wang Yi is scheduled to meet with Prime Minister Narendra Modi at his residence at 7, Lok Kalyan Marg at 5:30 PM, as confirmed by the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA).
