The 39-year-old actress, known for her roles in popular films like Gangs of Wasseypur, Dedh Ishqiya, and Jolly LLB 2, did not want to miss out on opportunities to share great stories or play significant roles. Huma stated, “We used to wait for such opportunities for a long time. Going to other producers and convincing them to hire you isn’t always practical. It’s heartbreaking. Both of us have the Qureshi gene, which doesn’t let us accept rejection easily,” she explained.

The actress is also making decisions independently with her production house. Huma is planning various projects to execute her productions effectively.
