Social activist Snehmayi Krishna has filed a complaint at the Dharmasthala Sub-Police Station against Girish Mattannavar, Mahesh Timmarodi, and MD Sameer, accusing them of spreading false propaganda about Dharmasthala, causing confusion among the people of the state. Krishna has demanded their immediate arrest to protect social harmony.

According to the complaint, the accused falsely claimed that an MBBS student named Ananya Bhat, who does not exist as the daughter of Sujatha Bhat, was abducted, raped, and murdered in Dharmasthala. They further alleged that Dharmasthala’s Dharmadhikari Veerendra Heggade and his brother Harshendra Heggade were involved in the crime.The complaint states that when Sujatha Bhat attempted to file a police report, the police allegedly refused to register it and threatened her.

Additionally, the accused claimed that four individuals assaulted Sujatha Bhat, leaving her in a coma for three months, a claim deemed false and intended to create fear among the public. These fabricated allegations are said to have deceived the people of the state, tarnished the reputation of a sacred religious site, and undermined the trust and respect of millions.

Furthermore, the complaint highlights that a photograph of the late Smt. Vasanthi, who passed away in 2007, was misrepresented as that of Ananya Bhat to falsely claim she was raped and murdered, thereby disrespecting Vasanthi’s memory. The complainant has urged the authorities to register a case against Sujatha Bhat, Girish Mattannavar, Mahesh Shetty Timmarodi, MD Sameer, and their associates, arrest them, and take action to safeguard societal well-being.
