Delhi CM Rekha Gupta Assaulted, Continues Public Engagement Despite Injuries..!

Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta was physically assaulted on Wednesday morning but has resumed her public service duties after recovering. The investigation is ongoing to determine if the attacker, a professional criminal, acted alone.

On Wednesday morning, Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta was physically attacked during a public interaction at her official residence in Civil Lines. The assailant, a 41-year-old individual from Rajkot, Gujarat, infiltrated the weekly public meeting under the guise of a complainant. Despite the attack, Gupta remains resolute in her commitment to public service.

On Thursday, seven BJP MPs from Delhi visited her at her residence to inquire about her health. Northeast Delhi BJP MP Manoj Tiwari stated that the attack has not deterred the Chief Minister’s resolve. “The attack has not shaken the Chief Minister’s determination. Her public engagement will continue as usual. She will participate in the next public meeting on Wednesday and resume work from her office starting Friday. Despite sustaining injuries, she is recovering well and working today,” Tiwari said.
