Bengaluru – The woman who shook the entire nation by saying “My daughter Ananya Bhat went missing after visiting Dharmasthala, give me her remains” and protesting on the steps of Dharmasthala Police Station, Sujatha Bhat, has now taken a shocking U-turn.

Speaking exclusively to Insightrush Media, Sujatha Bhat said:
“I don’t even have a daughter. I am admitting my mistake. In this case, since I gave false information, I request the law to consider my age and grant me exemption from punishment.”

She added:

  • I never gave any statement to SIT

  • I never demanded remains anywhere

  • Girish Mattannavar forced me to lie. He told me to ask for ashes in the name of Sanatana Dharma

  • Because of pressure, I lied. Now, everywhere my reputation is being questioned. I admit it was my mistake. Please leave me alone

Property Dispute Behind False Claims

Sujatha revealed that her ancestral property was given to Dharmasthala without her consent by her brother. Out of anger, she fabricated false allegations against Dharmasthala.

Public Apology

She has now apologized to the people, Dharmasthala, and devotees, admitting she misused people’s faith and trust.
