Ghazal Alagh, a Haryana-based entrepreneur, is the co-founder of Mamaearth, a leading brand for toxin-free baby and personal care products in India. Her journey began when she struggled to find safe, toxin-free products for her own son, which eventually led her to start her own venture.

Born into a middle-class family, Alagh earned a BCA degree and worked as a corporate trainer in the IT sector, where she earned a daily wage of ₹1,200. In 2016, she and her husband launched the Mamaearth startup with an initial investment of ₹25 lakhs.

Today, Mamaearth holds the distinction of being the first brand in Asia to receive the "Made Safe" label. The brand has expanded its product line from baby care to include a wide range of skincare and cosmetic products, establishing itself as a popular and trusted name in the industry.
