The much-awaited Ravi Teja starrer Mass Jathara has had its release date postponed. The film, initially set to hit theaters on August 27, has been delayed due to production setbacks and recent industry-wide strikes, as officially announced by the producers.
According to the producers, “Due to recent industry-wide strikes and unexpected delays in finalizing key aspects, Mass Jathara will not be able to release on the scheduled date of August 27. However, the team is tirelessly working to bring you the biggest mass feast in theaters soon! A new release date will be announced shortly.” This was shared on X.

This news has disappointed Ravi Teja fans, especially since his previous film Mr. Bachchan did not meet box office expectations. Nevertheless, the producers have assured that this delay will help improve the final quality of the film.

Directed by Bhanu Bogavarapu, Mass Jathara is a quintessential mass entertainer. Ravi Teja will appear in his signature energetic role, with Sreeleela as the female lead, marking their second collaboration after Dhamaka. Veteran actor Rajendra Prasad plays a key supporting role.
So far, two songs from the film have been released. The first song, Tu Mera Lover, was released on April 14, 2025, composed by Bheems Ceciroleo, and is a peppy track. The second single, Ole Ole, is a high-energy mass number.
