Google's Gemini app has introduced a new and highly-anticipated photo editing tool named "Nano Banana," developed by Google DeepMind. The tool is generating significant buzz, with early tests reportedly proving its status as one of the world's best image editing tools.
Following a viral post from Google CEO Sundar Pichai, the AI platform Grok from XAI has also acknowledged the tool's capabilities, calling it a "revolutionary change" in photo editing and image generation with outstanding performance. According to Google, this new update allows users to create and edit images ranging from realistic photos to fantastical worlds.
The new generative image tool uses text prompts to edit photos in just a few seconds. Users can upload an image and use a text command to change facial details, lighting, and style, or even add new design elements with ease.
Unlike previous models, "Nano Banana" is designed for seamless use. To edit a photo, users simply need to upload it to the Gemini app and then provide a text prompt describing the desired changes. The tool will then generate the customized image according to the user's instructions.
