In response to offensive posts circulating on social media targeting Vijayalakshmi and her son, the Karnataka State Women’s Commission has taken action. The commission has written to the Bengaluru City Police Commissioner, urging strict measures against the cyber criminals involved.

Following derogatory posts on social media about Sandalwood actor Darshan’s wife, Vijayalakshmi, and their son, the chairperson of the Women’s Commission has reacted. The commission took this step after receiving complaints regarding the issue.

Objectionable and obscene posts targeting Vijayalakshmi and Darshan’s son have been published on social media. It is alleged that these posts contain content causing mental harassment and the use of abusive language. The posts are said to have shared material that undermines the dignity and self-respect of women.

Social activist R. Bhaskar Prasad lodged a complaint with the Women’s Commission regarding this matter. Based on the complaint, the commission wrote a letter to the Bengaluru City Police Commissioner, urging appropriate legal action against the miscreants involved in such acts.

The chairperson of the Women’s Commission stated, “Character assassination of women and children on social media is unacceptable.” The commission has appealed to the Bengaluru City Police Commissioner to take stringent action against the cyber criminals involved in this incident.
