Karnataka: According to data gathered from the National Crime Records Bureau (NCRB) and other sources, Karnataka has been recording an average of 2 rape cases and 16 sexual assault cases every single day. Rape Cases:

2022: As per NCRB data, Karnataka reported 600 rape cases, averaging about 1.64 cases per day (600 ÷ 365).

2023: The numbers remained consistent with 600 cases, again averaging 1.64 per day.

2024 (Jan–July): The state registered 549 cases in 221 days, which is about 2.48 cases per day.
