Supporters and Swamijis Plan Delhi Protest to Reinstate KN Rajanna in Karnataka Cabinet

Despite repeated warnings from the Congress high command and national leadership to be cautious with media statements, Rajanna openly criticized Rahul Gandhi’s allegations of “vote theft” in the Lok Sabha elections, leading to his removal from the cabinet. This decision was a consensus among several national Congress leaders.

Bengaluru: Former Karnataka Cooperation Minister KN Rajanna, previously a cabinet-rank minister, was sacked from the Karnataka Congress cabinet due to his critical remarks against the party high command. Unable to accept this development, his supporters, party workers, and swamijis from his Valmiki community have decided to stage a protest in Delhi. According to reports, plans have been made for a five-day protest in Delhi to pressure the Congress high command to reinstate Rajanna.

However, it remains uncertain how effective this protest will be. Sources indicate that reinstating Rajanna to a ministerial position is highly unlikely, even with protests. Meanwhile, MLA Sudhakar, a close aide of Deputy CM DK Shivakumar, has claimed that Rajanna has already applied to join the BJP, creating significant buzz.
