A famous television artist couple, actor Satya and actress Nirmala, are facing an FIR for allegedly defrauding by accepting money for the production of the Lakshmi Nivas serial. The case has been lodged at the C.K. Achchukattu police station.

Agni Y. Sagar, the GPA holder of Lokesh Productions, owned by Srujan Lokesh, filed the complaint. The complaint states that the couple received one crore rupees for the serial’s production.

An agreement was signed in November 2023, stipulating a monthly payment of five lakh rupees starting from April 1, 2024. However, no payments have been made so far, violating the terms of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), as mentioned in the complaint.

The complaint has been filed against Nirmala and her husband Satya under the banner of Sai Nirmala Productions. This case has put the couple, who have acted in Kannada and several other languages, in a challenging situation.
