According to a report published on September 4, 2025, at 8:10 AM, TV actor Ashish Kapoor was arrested by Delhi Police in Pune in connection with a sexual assault case. The victim alleged that the incident occurred during a party in the second week of August.

Based on the victim's complaint, Ashish Kapoor allegedly sexually assaulted her inside a toilet. According to the police investigation, the victim had initially contacted Ashish Kapoor through Instagram.

Initially, the FIR included the names of Ashish Kapoor, his friend, his friend's wife, and two unknown individuals. However, the victim later revised her statement, claiming that only Ashish Kapoor was responsible for the assault.
