GST Simplification Not a Major Gift from Centre, Says Minister R. B Thimmapur

The central government has yet to release our state's GST share. They do various things and then portray them as big favors. They talk about religion but do nothing for development. They haven't even built a single dam.

Regarding the recent simplification of the Goods and Services Tax (GST), Minister R.B. Thimmapur stated that while the move will not cause significant losses to the state government, it should not be considered a major gift from the central government.

Expressing his subtle dissatisfaction, he said, "The initial mistake was implementing the GST system itself. Now, claiming to have simplified it is laughable. The central government is misleading the public."

He further added, "The central government has yet to release our state's GST share. They do various things and then portray them as big favors. They talk about religion but do nothing for development. They haven't even built a single dam." Also Read: GST Slashed to Zero on Medicines, Food, and Education! When asked about the demand for reservations from nomadic communities, Thimmapur said, "Everyone makes demands. The government will review everything."

Regarding the issue of Bhovi Corporation Chairman Ravikumar not resigning, he stated, "I have seen it in the newspapers. I don't have enough information on it, but I know they have claimed it was done using Artificial Intelligence (AI)."
