Bengaluru: The Karnataka High Court has deferred the hearing on a petition filed by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah challenging the Governor Thaawarchand Gehlot’s approval for an investigation in the MUDA (Mysuru Urban Development Authority) case to the second week of November. The hearing on the petitions filed by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and J. Devaraju, the owner of the disputed land, was conducted by a division bench comprising Justices Anu Sivaraman and K. Rajesh Rai. Advocate General K. Shashikiran Shetty, representing the state government, stated that the petitions need to be heard conclusively.
