Mysore MP Yaduveer Wadiyar has reacted to the media regarding the stone-pelting incident in Maddur, Mandya district, and has criticized the Congress government. He stated that the stone-pelting between two communities is unacceptable, and the government must take appropriate action. He emphasized that it is wrong to merely blame BJP members; instead, the culprits should be identified and given strict punishment.
Several political leaders have responded to the media in connection with the stone-pelting clash in Maddur, Mandya district. JD(S) youth wing president Nikhil Kumaraswamy, Leader of Opposition R. Nevertheless, the incident in Maddur is highly condemnable. Subsequently, police resorted to a mild lathi charge to disperse the protesters. However, opposition parties have questioned the government on whether this lathi charge was necessary.
