BJP Karnataka President and MLA BY Vijayendra announced that a BJP delegation will visit Maddur tomorrow in response to the recent violence in the area. Providing details of the planned visit, he stated that the delegation will include Leader of Opposition R. Ashok, Chalavadi Narayanaswamy, former Deputy Chief Minister Dr. CN Ashwathnarayan, and other prominent party leaders.
Vijayendra demanded the immediate arrest of those responsible for the violence, noting that several individuals, including women, sustained serious injuries due to a lathi-charge. He emphasized that the delegation will meet the injured and their families to offer support and boost the morale of the Hindu community.

Expressing strong objections to statements made by the Congress government’s Chief Minister, Deputy Chief Minister, and Home Minister, Vijayendra condemned the Home Minister’s dismissal of the lathi-charge on women as a minor incident. He described such remarks as shocking and unacceptable.
