After the Nagamangala clash, during the Ganapati immersion, there was a failure to provide adequate police arrangements. The lack of proper instructions to the Mandya district police commissioner contributed to the escalation of the clash.

Previously, during the Ganapati immersion, a communal clash had erupted in Nagamangala. Several Muslim troublemakers were arrested in connection with it. Yet, such a clash did not stop there; it continued and another incident occurred in Maddur in Mandya district.


Reports suggest that the root cause of all this is the Karnataka state Congress government. There are evidences to support this claim. Inviting Banu Mushtaq to inaugurate the Karnataka's state festival-like Dasara has infuriated Hindu organizations and Hindus. A key point to note is that Banu Mushtaq is a woman from another community, and many argue that having her inaugurate a sacred Hindu festival is inappropriate. Despite this, the government has stuck to its decision, raising suspicions of favoritism towards one community.

Earlier, DK Shivakumar had spoken about Chamundi Hill, stating that "Chamundi Hill belongs to all." However, he has not referred to Muslim dargahs or mosques as belonging to all. Consequently, the Karnataka government has already triggered price hikes across all sectors in the name of implementing its guarantee schemes. Unable to cope with this, the public is in distress. Even during festivals and holidays, the government's indulgence in such politics begs the question of whether it's right. Festivals and traditions are not confined to a single day; they carry the responsibility of passing down ancient culture to future generations. In this context, such missteps are becoming a subject of widespread debate.
