The movie So Phram So, which was a success in theaters, is now available on Jio Hotstar. Addressing rumors about the film's duration being shortened on OTT, the film's team has clarified that "no scenes have been cut."

So Phram So has finally been released on OTT. Those who couldn’t watch it in theaters can now stream it on Jio Hotstar. The platform officially announced that streaming began on September 9, which is exciting news for OTT viewers.

However, there have been rumors that the movie’s duration has been reduced on OTT. The film, which ran for 2 hours and 17 minutes in theaters, raised questions about whether its runtime was shortened for the OTT release. The film’s team has provided clarification on this matter.

According to the team, no scenes have been cut in the OTT version. All the scenes shown in theaters are included in the OTT release. However, the team explained that anti-smoking advertisements, which were shown in theaters, have been removed for the OTT version, as they are not permitted on streaming platforms.

The movie So Phram So was screened in theaters at 24 frames per second. However, OTT platforms requested the film to be delivered at 25 frames per second, which may have caused a slight difference in runtime. The team clarified that this difference is not due to any scenes being cut.

It has been 45 days since So Phram So was released. The film initially premiered on July 25 in just 75 theaters. However, the number of theaters and screens increased on the second and third days, and the film’s earnings also saw a significant rise.

In its first three days, the movie earned 6 crore rupees. In its second week, it was released in Malayalam, and in the third week, it was released in Telugu, receiving positive responses in both languages.
