If a woman’s husband passed away unexpectedly, she was expected to live her life in his memory, bound by societal norms.Women were denied the freedom to eat the food they liked or travel to places they wished to visit.

In the past, women were confined to the kitchen and restricted from going out or pursuing their interests. Even if they had a desire to learn, they were not allowed to step outside the home. If a woman’s husband passed away unexpectedly, she was expected to live her life in his memory, bound by societal norms.Women were denied the freedom to eat the food they liked or travel to places they wished to visit.

However, in today’s world, a woman—whether alone or with a family—possesses the courage, strength, and capability to sustain herself and her loved ones. Women have the resilience to face any hardship and overcome challenges with determination. For example, many women engage in activities like tailoring, crafting handmade items, embroidery, cooking, making candles from home, selling flowers, domestic work, or stitching garments.

Despite personal struggles, they embrace these challenges with a smile, becoming role models for others, including men and those who doubt their capabilities.Thousands of such inspiring women exist, but they often lack a proper platform to showcase their skills and grow. There is a need to create effective platforms in cities to recognize and nurture their talents. To help their work flourish, efforts must be made to identify and promote these women, ensuring their contributions gain the recognition they deserve.
