A delegation of party leaders met Union Home Minister Hon. @AmitShah in New Delhi and submitted detailed information regarding the collapse of law and order in Karnataka. They provided details about the conspiracies involving misinformation campaigns against Shri Kshetra Dharmasthala and the atrocities being committed against Hindus. Since the Congress government came to power, peaceful living for the Hindu community has become challenging.
Continuous atrocities and murders of Hindu activists, such as the killings of Suhas Shetty and Gavisiddappa Nayak from the Scheduled Caste community in Koppal, along with repeated incidents of rape, murder, and extortion, have disrupted public peace. The excesses of communal forces have crossed all limits. Despite attacks on police stations, the Congress government has restrained the police, leading to a breakdown of law and order. Hindu religious festivals, celebrations, and rituals can no longer be conducted peacefully.
Restrictions have been imposed on Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations. In Maddur, Mandya district, communal miscreants pelted stones at a Ganeshotsav event, assaulted women and children, and even attacked police personnel, creating chaos.When people took to the streets to protest these incidents, the police resorted to lathi charges, oppressing those seeking justice. The government has withdrawn cases against communal miscreants who attacked police stations in Hubballi and Bengaluru, causing widespread anxiety in society.
Under the guise of minority appeasement, indirect support is being extended to perpetrators of crimes. These issues were brought to the attention of the Home Minister, with a request for the Central Government to take special measures to restore law and order in Karnataka.
