While some Indians may overlook the cultural treasures of Sanskrit, yoga, and other traditions, the enthusiasm of these foreign women for India’s unique heritage has earned widespread appreciation. Their efforts to embrace and spread India’s cultural and spiritual legacy are being celebrated across the board.

Nagpur, Maharashtra : India, a land of diversity, boasts a unique identity in its food, culture, and traditions. It is common for travelers from around the world to visit India, drawn by its rich heritage. However, a notable event has unfolded with three Italian nationals—Sivya, Julia, and Radha—embarking on a spiritual journey across India. As disciples of Yog Guru Mahi Guruji, the founder of a renowned Yoga and Meditation Centre in Italy, they are deeply engaging with India’s traditions of dharma, spirituality, and cultural unity. This journey reflects the growing global fascination with India’s spiritual heritage.

The trio is profoundly connected with Indian culture, chanting stotras, mantras, and bhajans in Sanskrit, Hindi, and Marathi, while also learning songs in local languages to grasp the essence of India’s spiritual ethos. Julia, one of the disciples, shared, “Mahi Guruji has taught me Indian culture, Sanatana Dharma, Ayurveda, and Yoga. Their journey included participation in the Kumbh Mela, which they described as a “transformative experience,” witnessing saints, seers, and millions of devotees celebrating Sanatana Dharma.
