In the wake of actor Darshan's re-incarceration in the Renukaswamy murder case, a theft occurred at his wife Vijayalakshmi's residence. Rs 3 lakh in cash went missing from their home in Bengaluru's Hosakerehalli area, specifically at Prestige South Ridge Apartments in Banashankari III Stage.

Vijayalakshmi's manager, Nagaraju, filed a complaint at the Chennammanakere Achchukattu police station in Bengaluru regarding the incident. This news has caused quite a stir.

Vijayalakshmi has expressed suspicions about the domestic help in connection with the theft. Based on the complaint, police have registered an FIR under Section 306 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (theft by clerk or servant) and begun probing the matter.

With Darshan back in jail, Vijayalakshmi is already grappling with immense distress. She had previously visited several temples, performing poojas for his release.

Following her prayers, Darshan was granted bail. However, the Supreme Court canceled the Karnataka High Court's bail order, leading to his re-arrest and return to jail. This development has only deepened Vijayalakshmi's sorrow.

The theft reportedly took place between September 4 and 8. On September 4, before heading to Mysuru, Vijayalakshmi had instructed Nagaraju to retrieve some money from a box in her bedroom wardrobe. Upon checking the box on September 8, the over Rs 3 lakh cash was found missing. Despite searches and questioning of the staff, the money remains untraced.

Police suspect insider involvement and are continuing the investigation to identify and apprehend the culprit.
