From September 22 to October 7, the Karnataka State Backward Classes Commission will conduct a social and educational survey, i.e., the caste census. Everyone must participate in this caste census survey. No one should stay away from the survey. An opportunity has also been provided to participate in the survey online. Key Details: Purpose: To understand the social, economic, political, and educational status of the state's approximately 7 crore population. Conducted by: The Commission under the chairmanship of Madhusudan Naik, with 1.65 lakh enumerators (including teachers and government staff).

The 2015 survey was canceled, and a new one is being conducted because 10 years have passed.
