MLA T. Raghumurthy has promised to arrange a job for Renukaswamy's wife Sahana in government institutions or mathas (monasteries). Renukaswamy and Sahana had been married for just one year. The murder occurred around the time of their first wedding anniversary, plunging the family into grief. When Renukaswamy passed away, his wife Sahana was pregnant. Subsequently, on October 16 last year, she gave birth to a baby boy.
