Continuous rain is expected for three days in the state. Heavy rainfall is set to resume from today, including in Bengaluru. A yellow alert has been declared for several districts due to the possibility of heavy rainfall, including Tumakuru, Kolar, Kodagu, Hassan, Chitradurga, Chikkaballapur, Bengaluru Rural, Bengaluru Urban, and parts of North Karnataka such as Vijayapura, Kalaburagi, Yadgir, Gadag, Bidar, Raichur, Koppal, Belagavi, Uttara Kannada, Dakshina Kannada, and Udupi in the coastal region. In Bengaluru, the weather is cloudy, with temperature fluctuations (minimum and maximum) reported in various parts of the city. Thunderstorms are expected in other urban areas, including the southern districts of Ramanagara, Mandya, and Mysuru.

The Karnataka State Natural Disaster Monitoring Centre (KSNDMC) has shared its official seven-day weather report, stating that "moderate to heavy rainfall with thunderstorms is likely in the northern parts of the state's interior districts until September 18.
