The fraudster, who even posed for a photo with Union Minister Rajnath Singh, promised to arrange house rentals and cheated victims. The incident occurred within the jurisdiction of the Electronic City Police Station. Victims who paid money for houses are now on the streets. The scam involves Ketina Homes India Private Limited, reportedly owned by Vivek Keshavan. The company was operating from Electronic City. The fraud took place in multiple areas including Marathahalli, Banaswadi, Amruthahalli, and Electronic City. The broker company Ketina created a facade through its website.
Vivek Keshavan and his gang were taking properties on rent from owners.
They then advertised these houses for lease on their website, luring those searching for rentals.
Vivek and his gang collected lakhs of rupees from lease seekers by promising to arrange the rentals.
They paid the house owners rent for just one or two months.
For the past six months, Vivek Keshavan stopped paying rent and fled.
The fraudster Vivek abruptly emptied and abandoned the company overnight.
