Rename Shivajinagar Metro Station after Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, Urges BJP MLC Dr. M.G. Mule..!

BJP MLC Dr. M.G. Mule has written to the Karnataka state government, urging the renaming of Bengaluru’s Shivajinagar Metro Station to “Shri Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Station.”

BJP MLC Dr. M.G. Mule has urged the Karnataka state government to rename Bengaluru’s Shivajinagar Metro Station as “Shri Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Station.” In a letter addressed to Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and Deputy Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar, Dr. Mule emphasized the historical significance of the area and its connection to the legendary Maratha king.

In his letter, Dr. Mule highlighted that Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj spent a significant part of his childhood in Shivajinagar, as his father, Shahaji Maharaj, ruled Bengaluru during that period. This historical link prompted the erstwhile Mysore Maharajas to name the area ‘Shivajinagar.’ Dr. Mule noted that Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj was not just a leader of the Maratha community but a unifying figure who transcended caste and religion, ruling with inclusivity.

He remains an enduring source of inspiration for the youth and is renowned in history for his respect for women. GLARE & BLAIR Ribbed Sleeveless Bodycon Tank Mini Cami Dress for Women

The establishment of “Hindavi Swarajya” by Shivaji Maharaj is considered a significant contribution to the nation, Dr. Mule stated. Shivajinagar is home to a large population of both Kannada and Marathi communities, living in harmony. On behalf of the Karnataka Maratha community and admirers of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj across India, Dr. Mule has made this demand to honor the king’s legacy by naming the metro station after him.
