There have been significant discussions about canceling all ineligible BPL cards across the state. However, Food Minister KH Muniyappa has put a full stop to these speculations. Speaking to the media in the city, he responded to concerns about ineligible BPL cards. He stated that ineligible cards will be revised as per regulations and transferred to APL (Above Poverty Line) cards. No cards will be canceled; instead, they will undergo a revision process. On the same occasion, addressing the issue of illegal transportation of Anna Bhagya rice in Yadgir, he said a brief investigation into the case is necessary. The scam has occurred on a large scale, and officials are conducting an inquiry.
