Former Indian cricketer and beloved spin bowler, R Ashwin, celebrated his 39th birthday today. The star player, who recently retired from all forms of cricket, represented India in 106 Tests, 116 ODIs, and 65 T20Is.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) extended its wishes to Ashwin on his special day. Ashwin was a key member of the Indian squads that won the 2011 ODI World Cup and the 2013 ICC Champions Trophy.
