Advocate S. Sunil Kumar, representing Darshan in the Chitradurga Renukaswamy murder case, told the court on Wednesday that Darshan has been denied even minimal facilities. During Wednesday’s hearing, Judge I.P. Nayak heard arguments from both sides. Government prosecutors, representing the jail officials, said Darshan had already been provided with minimum facilities. The lawyer further alleged that Pakistani terrorists are enjoying luxury facilities in prison and said he had video evidence to submit before the court.

Referring to the prison manual, Sunil Kumar reminded the court that Darshan is entitled to minimum facilities, but jail authorities have disobeyed court orders. He requested that, if necessary, the court itself record Darshan’s statement on the actual conditions.
