New Dehli: Congress leader and Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi, has once again attacked the Election Commission of India (ECI), accusing it of large-scale voter deletion through "software-driven fraud." Speaking at the AICC headquarters in Delhi, he presented what he claimed was "evidence" from Karnataka to support his allegations. Gandhi also announced he would soon reveal a "Delete Bomb," a bombshell expose on what he called "voter theft."
Following his previous allegations regarding the Mahadevapura constituency, Gandhi has now raised concerns about the Aland assembly constituency in Karnataka. He alleged that after a 40-day investigation, a "grand conspiracy" within the ECI was uncovered, leading to the illegal deletion of a large number of voter names specifically, 6,018 names. He claimed that an unethical online process was used to carry out these deletions. Gandhi stressed that this conspiracy targets constituencies where the Congress party is strong and represents a direct attack on democracy.Gabit Salicylic Acid & Green Tea Face Moisturiser For Acne, Blackheads & Open Pores | Oil free, Lightweight Moisturizer, Exfoliates, Brightens skin |Ceramides, Niacinamide, CiCa |For Women & Men, 50ml
Presenting evidence and a statement from a voter, Gandhi stated that the ECI has been complicit by ignoring the issue. He alleged that the fraudulent voter deletions occurred during the 2023 Karnataka Assembly elections and disproportionately targeted tribal, OBC, and minority communities. He claimed that a fake login was used to instigate this process, which he described as a deliberate plot to corrupt the electoral system.
On the other hand, the Election Commission has rejected these claims. It remains to be seen how the ECI will respond to Rahul Gandhi's specific allegations and whether it will provide evidence to counter what it considers to be baseless claims.
